Good foods - eat high protein, low carb meals with as many fresh and raw vegetables as you can. Protein makes your brain feel full faster than carbohydrates. Fresh raw vegetables are extremely valuable because they digest easy, have a lot of bulk, take up a lot of room in your stomach, and are full of vitamins and nutrients. Some foods actually burn nearly as many calories chewing and digesting them, as they "cost" you in eating them.

Bad foods - the single worst common food is ice cream because it contains serious fat and sugar and very little nutritional value. If you must indulge, do so in small quantities, and do so no more than once a month. Overall limit your intake of ANY kind of sugar, fructose, cane, brown, powdered, etc. Surgery foods have been proven to be addictive. They basically do the opposite of hoodia. Once you eat sugars they make you want more later until no day is complete without a 1,000 calories or so of sugar high. This is one of the fastest ways to ruin your health outside of illegal drugs and alcoholism. Excessive sugar and carbohydrates contribute to the onset of Diabetes.

Eat slowly - this gives you time to get over the usual message your brain and society feeds you, "hurry stuff yourself as fast as you can, eat eat eat, don't stop and enjoy the food, just stuff in the calories, make your stomach feel bloated and stuffed and uncomfortably full because this is the feeling of being full and healthy and it feels good to be like this" - WRONG! None of us feel good about this. We do it every day, like a drug addict we are never satisfied, and we hate ourselves immediately afterwards. We are getting fat doing it and endangering our health at the same time.

Eat slowly, taste the food, feel the texture of the food in your mouth, smell it, enjoy it, and realize you are only giving your body just what it needs and not one calorie more. You will lose weight, stop being a food addict, feel better about yourself, be healthier and have more energy. You will see a positive reaction from others when they see your pleasure with eating and your weight loss.

The French take very long, enjoyable, leasurely meals lasting 1-2 hours. If you ever observe them having dinner they eat very slowly and seem to relish every bite. Isn't this what eating a good meal is for anyways? Recently there was a program on National Public Radio on what the French women do to have such great figures even though they rarely diet. It was reported that they basically ate slowly, consumed less calories, and were more concerned about the overall fun experience of dining than getting that stuffed feeling. Food is to be enjoyed and mealtime should be looked forward to. Follow this advice and you will enjoy your food more, eat less calories, and begin to realize the new body you yearn for.

Exercise as much as you can. Even simple movements like walking, riding a bike, doing yard work, etc. will keep you busy, burn calories, and keep your mind off food. Our brains will NOT ask for food once we reach a certain metabolic rate or "heat level". You will get thirsty but not have much of an appetite. Try jogging a mile and see if you are in the mood for a steak when you hit the front door. Your hunger will return in an hour or two but by then you have ingested one or two hoodia capsules and you will full VERY fast on low calorie foods. This forces your body to burn your body fat.

Drink plenty of water every 4-6 hours. Hoodia turns off your brain to eating but it will also make you forget to drink. Yes, you will urinate more, just get used to it while you are dieting.
